Adele Dawson

Adele is based in Nelson and has more than 15 years of planning experience, with strong expertise in resource consenting and policy development. She is highly skilled in preparing and processing complex resource consent applications and has extensive experience developing freshwater policy, from analysis and provision drafting through to evaluation and hearing reports.

Adele has appeared as an expert witness in complex resource consent and plan change hearings and supported councils through Environment Court mediation. Her sector experience includes commercial forestry, large-scale farming, and mineral extraction.
