Our Experience

Incite has a broad range of experience in projects and policy development. Example projects which have included direct involvement by current Incite personnel include:

State Highway Projects
Statutory approvals and consultation for major State Highway Projects including Transmission Gully (north of Wellington) and MacKays to Peka Peka Expressway (Kapiti Coast). Incite is also leading the Social Impact Assessment for the Transmission Gully Project.
Transport Strategic Studies
Land use planning and consultation inputs within multidisciplinary teams for numerous transport strategic studies including the Additional Waitemata Harbour Crossing Network Plan (2010), Wellington Western Corridor Consenting Strategy (2005) and State Highway Strategy Studies at various locations throughout New Zealand.
Albany Senior High School, Auckland
Lead consultant for the designation. This was a highly complex project with a very short timeframe. Significant environmental issues needed to be resolved including limited practical building sites, terrestrial and aquatic ecology, traffic and transport, visual amenity, heritage and community perceptions. The school opened in February 2010.
Auckland ASB Showgrounds
Resource consent for a comprehensive rebuild of the Auckland ASB showgrounds. Stage 1 opened in 2009.
Service Stations
Extensive experience in consenting of new service stations and serviced station upgrades throughout New Zealand including Mobil’s ‘On the Run’ brand service stations and associated retail shops, and the rollout of Challenge Petroleum stations.
Telecommunications Sites
Incite is the principal supplier of resource management services for Telecom Mobile’s mobile phone network throughout New Zealand with Incite having been involved in excess of 1000 new telecommunication sites or upgrades, and in 2008/2009 obtained all necessary statutory approvals to upgrade the Telecom network to launch its XT Mobile product. Incite is also the sole supplier of resource management services to the New Zealand Police for their communications network.
Water Allocation
Development of plans and plan changes for Environment Canterbury, including plan drafting, s32 assessments and advice to hearing commissioners.
Supermarkets and Home Improvement Stores
Planning consultant for resource consenting of several new sites for Bunnings and Progressive Enterprises.
