Incite is a specialist resource management consultancy formed in 1997. It has offices in Auckland, Wellington, Nelson and Christchurch and undertakes work nationally for a range of clients in both the private and government sectors.

As a specialist resource and environmental management consultancy, we work extensively in teams with other organisations on large project work either in a lead role or as a team member depending on a particular client's needs.

Incite has a director based in each office supported by other professional staff. We have a high ratio of senior staff ensuring that experienced resources are brought to bear on all projects.

Chris leads the Auckland office of Incite and is an experienced resource management practitioner who has been involved in a broad range of resource management projects and issues throughout the country. His particular focus in recent years has been in the area of infrastructure provision and protection at both a project and policy development level. He is also involved in a broad range of other projects including schools, fire stations, petroleum and LPG facilities. Chris sees his function as assisting clients to achieve their vision. His aim is to provide practical solutions to clients though proactive problem solving.

Director: Louise Miles

Louise established and manages Incite’s Wellington office. She enjoys designing and implementing consultation processes for large infrastructure or community-based facilities. While challenging, she finds this work very rewarding. From her experience, consultation can potentially result in better outcomes for all parties, such as improved project design, reduced adverse effects, greater community acceptance, or reduced timeframes and costs in terms of the statutory process.

Gary has been operating from Incite's Nelson office since 2001 and is respected by clients and peers as a leading planner in the 'Top of the South' region. Gary assists all of the consent authorities in the region with reporting on land use and subdivision applications, and with staff mentoring and peer review. He also works extensively with national and local clients on projects in the region (for example the consultation on the Nelson State Highway Corridor Study, resolving Port Nelson noise issues, a new Bunnings Store in Stoke, telecommunication infrastructure projects, and coastal and rural subdivisions in Tasman and Buller District). With more than 20 years experience in planning and his practical approach, Gary is able to achieve excellent results for clients.

Director: Matthew McCallum-Clark

Matthew is a founding Director of Incite and leads Incites’ growing practice in natural resource allocation and policy. He has worked with national organisations developing Environmental Plans and carrying out National Policy investigations. Matthew is also very experienced in the resource consent process including public consultation, as well as designations and economic assessment. Matthew’s strengths are his ability to provide innovative and robust solutions to resource management problems in order to achieve his client’s objectives and his ability to manage complex projects.
